Alexa

Bussell

Alexa received her first bachelor’s degree in Biological Anthropology and Criminal Justice from the University of Arkansas in 2018, while being an active member of Delta Gamma. After graduating, she moved back to her hometown, Paris, Texas, and worked within her community while continuing her education at Paris Junior College. After the pandemic, Alexa became employed at the Lamar County District Attorney’s Office in 2021, which led her to pursue a bachelor’s degree in paralegal studies at East Texas A&M University. She graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2025 and landed on the President’s Scholars List.

During her time at ETAMU, Alexa joined the Paralegal Division of the State Bar of Texas and the Dallas Area Paralegal Association and continued her involvement post-graduation. She actively worked within DAPA on committees for different events closing out 2025 and looks forward to creating relationships and contributing to the growth of DAPA while serving as the 2026 Sustaining Member Liaison.
