Please join DAPA and become a sponsoring vendor, or as we affectionately call them a sustaining member. Click the Become a Sponsor page to fill out the online form to get started.
Is an image required in order to have a Sustaining Member listing?
No. However, you have the ability to upload a logo when completing the inline application. Having your logo on file helps DAPA market you in the best possible light.
What are the specifications for the logos?
Logos may be formatted as .png, .jpg, or .gif.
How can a Sustaining Member get more involved with DAPA?
Sustaining Members can serve on committees, such as the planning committees for the Holiday Luncheon, Paralegal Day, or Career Day and offer to help with DAPA's service needs. A Sustaining Member may also sponsor any general membership meeting or a section meeting.
How much does it cost to sponsor the general membership meeting?
The cost is about $50 to the vendor. DAPA asks that the Sustaining Member provide two $25 gift cards to hand out as door prizes. In exchange, the Sustaining Member may place their brochures and business cards on the dining tables and may speak for a few minutes before the door prize drawings. Typically, no other Sustaining Member should have their information on the tables.
What is the Sustaining Member Expo?
The Sustaining Member Expo is an event scheduled during the summer in place of a general membership meeting. It is a trade show of sorts, where a limited number of DAPA Sustaining Members set up tables with their brochures and literature and the members have an opportunity to meet them. The Sustaining Member provides a door prize with a $50 minimum value as their fee and the drawings are held during the second half of the meeting.
What if I have a suggestion or complaint?
Please email or call the Sustaining Member Liaison immediately with your concerns. We strive to have our organization be "member friendly" and we want to address your concerns. If it is something that needs to be brought before the Board of Directors, the Sustaining Member Liaison will present your issue there.
When is it time to renew my membership?
DAPA's membership year runs from January 1 to December 31 of each calendar year. You should receive a reminder via email with instructions on how to renew. If you have not received your renewal, please contact our Executive Director.
How many names may I list as contacts?
Our online form allows only one contact name and associated email address, but we understand the need for a "back-up" person. Should you have a team member or supervisor who wishes to also receive emails from the DAPA, please notify the Sustaining Member Liaison so they may add that name to their address book.
