The City of Dallas Office of Equity & Inclusion has shared this pro bono opportunity with DAPA: The City of Dallas, Office of Equity & Inclusion and community partners will host an in-person Citizenship Workshop on Saturday, August 24th 9:00a.m. to 4:00p.m. at the J. Erik Jonsson Central Library (1515 Young St, Dallas, TX 75201). We will be helping the first 200 City of Dallas residents. We are seeking volunteers for the following roles: · Lay volunteers to welcome residents, provide line flow support, disinfecting surfaces and other touch points, provide interpretation, etc. · DOJ Accredited Representatives and attorneys to assist with filling out the N-400 applications · Attorneys and DOJ Accredited Representatives to review filled out N400 applications with participants Please register HERE. After registering we will email you further instructions on your shift and role. Additionally, we will provide logistics and information on how to access the virtual training.
