*** A person eligible for sustaining membership shall be any person or entity who has an interest in the paralegal profession and who supports the purposes of DAPA. An individual sustaining member in good standing or representatives designated by an entity may attend Association meetings, seminars and other activities at fees charged to voting members and serve as a non-voting member of the following standing committees: Events , National Affairs/NFPA and other committees, including ad-hoc committees, as approved from time to time by the Board of Directors. Neither sustaining members, nor their designees, shall have the right to vote, hold any office set forth in Article IV, Section 4.1 or Article VII or serve as an officer/director, specialty section chair or committee chair.

Online & Digital Vendor Guide | Directory listing with unlimited services provided.
On the Record | DAPA's quarterly newsletter - Four (4) full page ads annually.
On the Record | Listed with company name, logo, contact info, unlimited services provided, and a bio of up to 400 words.
CLE or Presentation | Sponsor, host & lead two (2) events annually (DAPA must approve and collaborate on the legal industry topic).
Weekly E-Blasts | Six (6) weeks of Weekly E-Blasts. The Weekly E-Blast will be sent out on the Monday and Wednesday of each week you choose. Must provide the Advertisement for the Weekly E-Blast 10 business days prior to date of E-blast.

*End-of-Year Party sponsorships to be determined by the Board of Directors according to procedures. Not all awards are presented every year.

Membership Terms

DAPA's membership year runs January 1 to December 31. If you join between June 1 to September 30 of any given year, you will receive a 25% reduction in dues. Persons who join DAPA in October, November or December of any given year will pay the full membership fees, but their membership will be effective for the remainder of the current year through December 31 of the following year. (Example: Join October 2, 2025, membership expires December 31, 2026). If you do not renew your membership before March 1st you will be dropped from the active association roster.

* Membership Term: remainder of the current year or, if joining in October, November or December, the remainder of the current year through December 31 of the following year. No automatically recurring payments.

** Membership Term: remainder of the current year.

*** Membership Term: remainder of the current year if renewing/reapplying prior to October 1. The term when reapplying in after October 1 is the remainder of the current year through December 31 of the following year. Late fee will be applied on or after 03/01 until early renewals open in December.

**** The normal period for renewals is 01/01 - 02/28-29. Those dropped from the active association roster after March 1 can reapply, paying the late fee.
