Get to Know The Speaker:

Brenda Sanders-Wise currently serves as the Executive Director of the Tarrant County Black Historical and Genealogical Society, Inc., providing educational programming and genealogy workshops for adults and children.  Brenda also serves as the director and curator of the Lenora Rolla Heritage Center Museum. She has forged partnerships with other area museums to share in exhibitions and displays of African American history as well as summer outreach programs for children in underserved communities. Throughout the school year, Brenda is the TCBHGS representative for the Adopt-A-School Partner program at Van Zandt-Guinn Elementary.  She also volunteers as a reading mentor at Van Zandt-Guinn Elementary (FWISD) and Cheney Hills Elementary, Jack C. Binion Elementary, Holiday Heights Elementary and other schools within the Birdville Independent School District. 

This event qualifies for 1.0 hour of General CLE credit through DAPA.
