I am a Civil Litigation and Commercial Bankruptcy paralegal with Curtis | Law PC in Dallas, Texas. I received mydegree in Computer Science at Santa Clara University in Santa Clara, California. After graduation, I worked in the technology field for over twenty years as a software quality engineer. I worked at several well-known companies including Apple, Roku, Workday and Arlo. I was fortunate to be a part of many projects that became very successful including Apple’s iTunes Store, RokuTV and Arlo’s security cameras.
In the spring of 2022, I lost my job with Arlo and the technology sector imploded due to rising interest rates and over hiring during the pandemic. In 2023 I pivoted to become a paralegal. Over the years, law has been of great interest to myself. In the fall of 2023, I graduated with my ABA Approved Paralegal Certificate from California State University East Bay and began working in the legal field.
Since entering the legal field, I have been a member of several associations. Back in California, I was a member of SF Paralegal, Alameda County Bar, and Contra Costa County Bar associations. In May 2024 I moved to Dallas, Texas and began his current job and joined DAPA. Since joining DAPA I have become very involved with the association and recently have taken on the role of Website Administrator and was nominated and accepted the board position of Communications Director.
Aside from my role as a paralegal, I am a father to two beautiful daughters who moved from California to Texas in 2020 and now reside in Frisco, Texas. I was born in Abilene, Texas, and having moved back to Texas feels like “coming full circle”. While a native Texan at heart, I will always treasure the natural beauty of California, especially the mountains and the Pacific Ocean. I enjoy time on the water and am eager to get back into sailing on Lake Lewisville.
