Complete and submit the form below to establish your new member profile. DAPA members (current or former members) and existing guest account holders should NOT use this form! Use the renewal form. Once you submit this form you'll be presented the option to pay for your membership application via credit or debit card.
For Voting/Non-Voting members, you will receive an email from the Executive Director requesting copies of the following:
- Copy of your college degree or transcript (if applicable)
- Copy of your paralegal certificate (if applicable)
- Copy of your PACE, PCCE, CP, or TBLS certification (if applicable)
- Resume, including your current employment summary
Your membership application is not complete until payment and any backup documents are received!
The user id and password you enter now will be used to establish your account in a PENDING status. You will not be able to use these credentials for subsequent logons until we receive and process your application and payment, typically within three (3) business days after receipt. We will send you an email confirming your membership or otherwise contact you should we have questions about your application.
As described in detail on our criteria page, DAPA has 5 types of memberships: Voting, Non-Voting, Student, Emeritus and Sustaining. Hovever, we don't accept new applications for Emeritus membership. Current or past members can renew/reapply as an Emeritus member.
