DAPA's membership year runs January 1 to December 31. If you join between June 1 to September 30 of any given year, you will receive a 25% reduction in dues. Persons who join DAPA in October, November or December of any given year will pay the full membership fees, but their membership will be effective for the remainder of the current year through December 31 of the following year. (Example: Join October 2, 2019, membership expires December 31, 2020). If you do not renew your membership before March 1st you will be dropped from the active association roster. A portion of dues goes to membership in the National Federation of Paralegal Associations.

**** The normal period for renewals is 01/01 - 02/28-29. Those dropped from the active association roster after March 1 can reapply, paying the late fee.

Apply as a new member—Use this option if you've never been a member of DAPA, or if you've allowed your membership to lapse and need to re-apply.
Use this option if you have ever been a member of DAPA or have a guest member account. You will be redirected to log on and then be redirected as needed. If you have forgotten your password you can recover it on the logon page. If you've forgotten what email address you used for a logon ID or you no longer have access to that account, contact the Executive Director for assistance.
- Document your CLE activity (Voting only) - The online renewal process assumes the data contained in your CLE records as the starting point for the renewal process documentation. Review your CLE documentation and then return to this page to continue with the renewal process. Voting members must have 6 hours of CLE documented before beginning the renewal process. Remember that you are required to have at least one of those 6 hours in Ethics. Up to two (2) hours of CLE can be claimed as self-study. As a reminder, you can manage your ongoing CLE Records at anytime during the year via the page found in our site menu: Members Only > Directory > Manage My CLE Records. All CLE documentation is subject to audit.
