Robert L. "Skip" Trimble, Former Board Member to the Animal Legal Defense Fund, Council Member of the Animal Law Section of the SBOT, Legislative Chair of the Texas Humane Legislation Network, and Chairman of the Dallas Animal Shelter Commission. Also, Principal at Catlyn Capital Corp., a Dallas real estate investment company.

Event Description:
Mr. Trimble will be discussing the legislative process in Texas and the agenda for animal welfare legislation in the 2011 session. The Texas Humane Legislation Network will be bringing legislation to strengthen the current Texas laws involving cockfighting and to regulate the operation of large scale commercial dog and cat breeding facilities in Texas.
